DIFFRNT magazine presents a night of poetry and a screening of the classic film Brown Sugar. Featuring Sanaa Lathan and Taye Diggs Brown Sugar is a story of two childhood friends and the instrumental role Hip Hop has played throughout their journey.
As the film centres on rhyme and reason, it’s only right to include some of the best spoken word artists London has to offer, including Banana Sharma, Farah Gabdon, Kiraya Kawesa, Kush Wilson and Shadé Joseph. Themes on the night include love, relationships, connections and hip hop so expect to hear content on all of the above and more.
Whether you’re single or taken DIFFRNT would love to see your face!
