TUESDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER, 9PM-10PM - [Resident's Lounge]
Pigeons is writer and arthouse filmmaker Johnny White's debut stand-up show in which the big questions (life, death, stag do angst) are bravely tackled and bravely abandoned. Lengthy imaginings about James Nesbitt snuggle up against tall tales of magic mirrors. There are also some more run-of-the-mill jokes about supermarkets and that kind of carry-on.
Fest Mag writes: "This is his Fringe debut, and in its detail it evidences real comic craft, and an authentic and novel voice. There's a spectacularly nasty sequence that literalises the fear that friends don't have your best interests at heart. It's rare to see a comedian seem to enjoy so much the pleasure he's giving to his audience"
'Watching this show is like having a very good dream' (Liam Williams)
