As one of the official Hotel partner during The Other Art Fair 2019, Green Rooms is delighted to offer a unique opportunity to the winners of The Graduate Art Prize to display their projects in the unique context of the Hotel Lobby at Green Rooms, Wood Green.
The artists, recent graduates of Saint Martins College of Arts and winners of the Graduate Art Prize will participate with a selection of artworks previously exhibited in July 2019 during The Other Art Fair at West Handyside Canopy, King’s Cross, this time constextualizing the works within the unique architectural and design frame that characterizes Green Rooms.
Set-up in a beautiful late Art Deco building in North London that has been furnished 100% with British crafts furniture, the idea behind the Green Rooms Hotel is offering artists and creatives an affordable place to stay, exhibit, rehearse and meet like minded people in an environment that inspires creativity and collaboration.
Green Rooms mission is to function as genuine creative hub for those who stay, those who visit and those who live locally. Bringing together a variety of approaches, from tapestry to mixed media installation, from photography to drawings, the exhibition aims to offer a wide yet fresh gaze into contemporary art, both through its research and practice.
